Founded in 1953 by Delfus Chaput, Del’s Stucco began by plastering interiors in St. Adolphe, MB. After pivoting to doing only exterior projects, the company’s name changed to Del’s Exteriors and it began to thrive! More than 70 years later, Del’s Exteriors holds the unique distinction of being Manitoba’s largest and longest-running stucco company, with owner Norm at the helm.
No stranger to stucco, Norm began working in the business with his dad at the age of thirteen. Six years later, his father retired, and Norm assumed ownership of the company. More recently, long-time Del’s employee, Ryan Hobday invested as co-owner of the company.
Today, Del’s does more than just exterior work – stucco, stone, siding, painting, and roofing – they also offer interior renovation & restoration contracting and have highly experienced crews, each an expert in their own trade, providing you with an all-in-one service experience.At Del’s Exteriors, quality is paramount – that means projects aren’t complete until customers are completely satisfied.

Ryan Hobday is the co owner of Del’s Exteriors and Abel Western, bringing years of hands on experience and leadership to Manitoba’s exterior renovation industry. With a strong focus on quality craftsmanship, customer relationships, and long term solutions, Ryan is passionate about helping homeowners and builders protect and enhance their properties through trusted exterior systems and expert project execution.
Samantha (Sam) Friesen
Office Manager
Sam has been part of the Del’s Exteriors team for 13 years and joined Abel Western 2 years ago. As Office Manager, she keeps both companies running behind the scenes handling everything from accounts payable and receivable to the day to day operations that keep projects moving forward. If something needs to get done, chances are Sam’s involved. What she enjoys most about the job is the people. A strong team, a little problem solving, and plenty of sarcasm make even the busiest days enjoyable. Outside of work, Sam spends most of her time working on yard projects and maintaining her 6 acres. Relaxing usually turns into finding another project to tackle, but that’s just how she likes it.

Mike brings a practical, solutions focused approach to every project, thriving in an environment where no two days are the same. His day typically begins with a plan and quickly shifts into problem solving across job sites, team coordination, and client communication to keep projects moving efficiently. Driven by continuous improvement, Mike is always looking for better ways to execute, refine processes, and deliver high quality results that stand the test of time. His commitment to doing what is right for each project ensures both the integrity of the work and a positive experience for clients. Mike encourages homeowners to be clear about their vision and desired outcome before starting a renovation, as it helps create a smoother, more successful process. Outside of work, Mike values time with his family and the people closest to him.

Del’s upgraded the insulation and updated the exterior of our house. They were professional, efficient, courteous and reliable, always on time and very reasonably priced, keeping us under budget. Their workmanship is beautiful and they gave our tired exterior a much needed facelift with added insulation to boot. Five years later it still looks like it was done yesterday!
